Jason Muzzatti is a former National Hockey League goaltender who played several years in the NHL with the Calgary Flames, Hartford Whalers, New York Rangers and San Jose Sharks. A collegiate standout at Michigan State University, Muzzatti was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. After a long professional career overseas, Muzzatti retired and began his professional coaching career which has seen him make stops with the Flint Generals of the Internal Hockey League, Michigan State University and now is he’s currently the goalie coach with the Carolina Hurricanes.
