Ty Conklin is a former National Hockey League goaltender that played college hockey at the University of New Hampshire before making his professional debut. Though undrafted, Conklin signed with the Edmonton Oilers in 2001 and began his NHL career there. Conklin played for several NHL teams throughout his career, including the Edmonton Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings, and St. Louis Blues. One of the highlights of Conklin's career was participating in the first three NHL Winter Classic outdoor games, earning him the nickname "The King of the Classics." Despite not winning a Stanley Cup, he was part of two teams that reached the Stanley Cup Final: the Edmonton Oilers in 2006 and the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2008.

Over the years, numerous goaltenders of all ages have looked to Brian’s Custom Sports to give them a unique look to separate themselves from others which truly has made Brian’s the King Of Custom in the goalie community.
