The Lefebvre Family Custom Program Project
A Legendary name deserves a legendary introduction! Second String was extremely honored when the Lefebvre family reached out to us in 2021 to have a variety of leather goods made for friends and family members for the holidays. The pieces were constructed from a pair of original Lefebvre goalie pads from the early 80’s. The pieces came out incredible and we hope that these pieces will continue to carry on the families love and passion for the game of hockey for decades to come. Thank you again to Patrick, Veronic and Michel for allowing us to be apart of this special project for you and your loved ones!

After suffering a career ending injury in 1990, Pang focused his attention to broadcasting in the NHL and has become one of the top broadcasters in the hockey industry covering the St. Louis Blues, the Winter Olympics, numerous NHL Stanley Cup games and also appearing on XM Satellite Radio on various hockey shows.
Jimmy Howard - Detroit Red Wings
This is a project we worked on with Vaughn Custom Sports for their NHL pro client Jimmy Howard. These particular gloves were used in Jimmy’s 500 NHL game on February 14th, 2019 against the Ottawa Senators in a 3-2 Detroit win at LCA. Jimmy has been a long time client of Vaughn Custom Sports and their staff wanted to say Thank You with these very special leather pieces that he and his family can now carry with them to enjoy!
