Devan Dubnyk is a former National Hockey League Goaltender. Drafted 14th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Dubnyk began his NHL career with the Oilers, where he showed potential but struggled with consistency during his time in Edmonton (2009–2014). Dubnyk's career took off after being traded to the Minnesota Wild in 2015. He quickly became the team's starting goaltender and was instrumental in their success, earning a nomination for the Vezina Trophy in 2015 and winning the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy for perseverance and dedication to hockey. Dubnyk also played for the Arizona Coyotes, Nashville Predators, San Jose Sharks, and Colorado Avalanche throughout his playing career. Dubnyk is remembered for his remarkable turnaround in his playing career while playing for the Wild, where he re-established himself as a top goaltender in the NHL.
