Evgeni Nabokov is a former professional ice hockey goaltender who enjoyed a long and successful career in the National Hockey League. Selected 219th overall in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks, Nabokov developed into one of the league’s top goaltenders during his prime. Over 14 NHL seasons, he played for the New York Islanders and the Tampa Bay Lightning in addition to San Jose. Across his career, Nabokov appeared in 697 games, recording 353 wins along with a 2.44 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. Known for his consistency and durability, Nabokov was widely regarded as one of the most reliable goaltenders of his era.
