Cooper LABS
Cooper Canada was a sporting goods manufacturer based in the Toronto, Ontario area. Started in 1949 by Jack Cooper and Cecil Weeks and branded “Cooper Weeks” until June 15, 1971 when the company was renamed Cooper Canada when the company went public and started being traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Cooper was once considered the leader in protective gear and hockey equipment as the company pioneered team colored hockey equipment and the use of nylon, foam, and modern plastics in equipment manufacturing.
