Kevin Hodson is a former National Hockey League goaltender. Hodson made a name for himself after helping the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds win the Memorial Cup championship during the 1992/93 season in the Canadian Hockey League. Hodson was also named the top goaltender of the 1993 Memorial Cup tournament. After going undrafted in the NHL draft, Hodson found his way onto the star studded Detroit Red Wings roster in 1993. During the 1996/97 season, the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup as Hodson was the #3 goaltender on the team behind Mike Vernon and Chris Osgood. Although only appearing in 71 NHL regular seasons games, Hodson was liked by his teammates and was considered to be a reliable NHL backup during his 7 NHL seasons.
