Stuart Skinner is a current National Hockey League goaltender. Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers, Skinner has become the starting goaltender for the Oilers the last few season. On February 14, 2022, Skinner recorded his 1st NHL shutout against the San Jose Sharks making 20 saves to win the game 3-0. Skinner is considered by many as a young up and coming star in the NHL and is a goaltender to keep an eye on as the Oilers make a run for the Stanley Cup this season.
started out primarily as a bicycle manufacturer in 1899. It transitioned into hockey skates after multiple competitors in the biking market forced them to shift focus and change strategy. Using scrap steel from their bicycle/automobile efforts, they were able to launch themselves into the skating world with other hockey equipment soon following.
