Cooper GM12 Glove

Cooper Of Canada was a sporting goods manufacturer based in the Toronto, Ontario area. Started in 1949 by Jack Cooper and Cecil Weeks and branded “Cooper Weeks” until June 15, 1971 when the company was renamed Cooper of Canada when Cecil Weeks sold his company shares to Jack Cooper. Cooper was once considered the leader in protective gear and goalie equipment as the company pioneered team colored hockey equipment and the use of nylon, foam, and modern plastics in equipment manufacturing. Some big name goalies to wear Cooper in the NHL were Mike Vernon, Rick Wamsley, Mike Luit, Ron Hextall, Ed Belfour and Tom Barrasso.
