Cayden Primeau is a current national Hockey League goaltender with the Carolina Hurricanes. Originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2017, he starred at Northeastern University, earning the Mike Richter Award as NCAA’s top goalie. Primeau has split time between the NHL and AHL, where he excelled with the Laval Rocket, winning AHL Goaltender of the Month and the Harry “Hap” Holmes Award in 2025. Traded to Carolina in June 2025, Primeau brings strong potential and proven depth to the crease in Carolina.
