Pekka Rinne is a former National Hockey League goaltender. Drafted 258th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Rinne became the Preds starting goalie during the 2008-09 season and never looked back. Rinne won the Vezina Trophy as the leagues best goaltender during the 2017-18 season and was a finalist for the award 4 times. Rinne was the backbone of the Predators for his entire career before retiring from the game on July 13, 2021. Fun fact, On January 9th, 2020, Rinne scored a goal against the Chicago Blackhawks from behind his team’s goal line into an empty net with less than 22 seconds left in the game. 

CCM Hockey
started out primarily as a bicycle manufacturer in 1899. It transitioned into hockey skates after multiple competitors in the biking market forced them to shift focus and change strategy. Using scrap steel from their bicycle/automobile efforts, they were able to launch themselves into the skating world with other hockey equipment soon following.
