ITECH
was founded by former NHL hockey player Robin Burns in the basement of his home in Montreal, Canada. Eventually it grew into one of the leading brands in facial and equipment protection and was considered one of the largest hockey companies in the world. Known for coming up with the widely recognized clear polycarbonate visor and full face shield put ITECH on the map. As ITECH branched out into goalie equipment in the late 1990’s, player such as Rick DiPietro, Byron Dafoe, Ron Tugnutt, Ty Conklin, Chris Osgood and Jose Theodore all wore the brand proudly.
