Mike Fountain Mike Fountain is a former National Hockey League goalie. Fountain was never drafted to the NHL but played in the minor leagues and internationally. He spent time in leagues such as the International Hockey League, American Hockey League, and East Coast Hockey League. While Fountain never played a full season in the NHL, he did make several appearances at the NHL level. He played a total of 15 games in the NHL, suiting up for the Ottawa Senators, Carolina Hurricanes, and Anaheim Ducks during his career. Fountain is best remembered for his contributions in the minor leagues, where he had solid performances and earned respect as a reliable goaltender. After retiring from professional hockey, he has remained involved in the sport, often participating in alumni events and youth hockey programs in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
