Darren Pang is a former National Hockey League goaltender who made a name for himself with the Chicago Blackhawks in the 80’s. Pang was a standout goaltender in Jr ranks in the Ontario Hockey League as he won the Memorial Cup in 1984 with the Ottawa 67’s. After suffering a career ending injury in 1990, Pang focused his attention to broadcasting in the NHL and has become one of the top broadcasters in the hockey industry covering the St. Louis Blues, the Winter Olympics, numerous NHL Stanley Cup games and also appearing on XM Satellite Radio on various hockey shows.
Brian’s Custom Sports was originally founded by Sonny Stomp and Brian Heaton in a small sporting goods store in Kingsville, Ontario in 1984. Brian’s immediately became a leading Canadian manufacture of custom built goalie equipment in the hockey industry. The Brian’s factory is still located in Kingsville, Ontario and still supplies some of the best goalies in North America with equipment to this day.
