Jack Campbell is currently a professional goaltender under contract with the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League, assigned to their farm team, the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. Born on January 9, 1992, in Port Huron, Michigan, Campbell’s journey to the NHL is marked by perseverance and notable achievements. Drafted 11th over by the Dallas Stars in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Campbell has a very exceptional resume which includes two gold metals from the 2009 and 2010 IIHF World Junior Championships. His play in the 2010 World Championships paved his way into getting drafted in the NHL by the Dallas Stars. Campbell has played for the Dallas Stars, LA Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers. Another career highlight for Campbell was being selected to the 2022 NHL All Star Game, his first NHL All Star appearance.
